Astrid Froidure
Founder & Principal
Astrid Froidure brings over two decades of experience advising regulated organisations across Europe on data strategy, AI governance, operational resilience, and enterprise architecture. She has led complex transformation programs at major financial institutions, energy operators, and global professional services firms — always at the intersection of data, AI, and operational trust.
Before founding Verydion, Astrid served as Acting Chief Data Officer at Capgemini, where she built and led an enterprise Data & AI function spanning strategy, governance, platform modernisation, and AI enablement. Her advisory work spans financial services, energy, consumer goods, and professional services — with deep expertise in EU AI Act readiness, DORA, GDPR, and data platform transformation.
Verydion was founded to bring that experience to organisations that need senior, independent advisory — without the overhead of a large consultancy or the conflicts of a technology vendor.

Verydion operates from Luxembourg, with active engagements across Belgium, the Netherlands, and France. Our work is grounded in the European regulatory landscape — the EU AI Act, DORA, NIS2, GDPR, and sector-specific frameworks from the EBA, ECB, and national supervisory authorities.
We are not a global firm with a European office. We are a European advisory — which means our regulatory knowledge is current, our networks are local, and our advice is calibrated to the specific obligations that apply to organisations operating under European law.
